Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering (KMSME), located in Kochi, Kerala, was established in 2003 under Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). It is the first marine engineering college in India set up within a university framework. The school is DG Shipping-approved, ISO-certified, and affiliated with IMU, offering Marine Engineering programs with advanced workshops, simulators, and laboratories. With strong industry collaborations and placement support, KMSME prepares cadets for careers in the Merchant Navy and global shipping industry.
