MASSA Maritime Academy (MMA – Chennai) was set up to provide structured maritime education and training aligned with international standards. It is one of the two MASSA academies in India (the other being in Mumbai), both functioning under the Maritime Training and Research Foundation (MTRF). The Chennai campus is located at 83 & 84, 1st Main Road, Nehru Nagar, Kottivakkam (OMR), opposite Turyaa Hotel, Chennai – 600041. The academy is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Government of India, and has earned ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management.
