Founded in 1989, Seacom Marine College is a DG Shipping–approved maritime training institute under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. It is also authorized by the Ministry of Communications to impart training in radio communication, and serves as an approved examination center for the Ministry of Aeronautics.
The college operates two campuses:
- Dhulagarh Campus (MTI No. 301003) – Howrah, West Bengal
- Kolkata Campus (MTI No. 301002) – Central Kolkata
Seacom is recognized as one of the oldest maritime colleges in Eastern India, combining academic excellence with practical training.
